Description

66 High Street is a 16th century timber-framed and plastered building that has been restored. It stands two storeys high, with the upper storey jettied across the entire front, supported by exposed joists. The facade features a range of three windows, which are modern casements with lattice leaded lights. There is a central doorway that has a four-centred arch with carved spandrels. The roof is tiled and includes an end chimney stack at the south end. Inside, the building has moulded beams, a blocked original doorhead, and a fireplace.
