Description

The cobbled courtyard located at the back of Church Gate House and the east boundary wall in Westerham is a notable feature. The courtyard consists of closely set cobbles that lead up to the house on the north side. The long wall, made of brick and rubble, dates from the 19th century and possibly earlier. This courtyard, along with the adjacent properties numbered 9 to 14 and No 15 (Church Gate House), forms a cohesive group of structures.
