Description

13 The Green is a 18th-century house that features a front added to an older structure. It has two storeys and an attic, with two windows on the upper floor. The roof is tiled and includes a hipped dormer, eaves, and a bracketed gutter. The ground floor is stuccoed up to the first-floor cill band, while the upper section is painted brick with a rendered plinth. The first floor has recessed sash windows with glazing bars, and there is a similar window on the ground floor to the right. To the left, there is a door with six fielded panels, a rectangular fanlight above, and a bracketed hood that rests on sunk panel pilasters. This building, along with Nos 9 to 14 and No 15 (Church Gate House), forms a cohesive group with shared walls and yard.
