16 The Green is a house with an early to mid 19th-century front that incorporates elements from an earlier period. It has two storeys and an attic, featuring three windows. The fairly high-pitched slate roof has eaves soffits and one square dormer, while the side has a tiled roof. The house has recessed sash windows set in painted reveals beneath shallow segmental arches. The exterior is made of red brick with blue headers and includes a brick plinth. There is a modern quasi-Georgian door and doorcase, and a deep segmental arch above the window located above the door.
