Description

KNOLE PARK 1614 Main Lodge Entrance TQ 55 SW/4/85 13.4.51 II 2. Pair of early C19 1 storey lodges connected by ornamental centre cast iron gates. Each lodge consists of one small square building of 1 storey with 2 sash windows, flat projecting eaves and gutter with exposed joists under soffits and hipped Welsh slate roof with centre stacks. Coursed local stone with flint infilling to mortar joints, and ashlar dwellings. Windows set in recessed panels between 3 panelled divisions or pilasters.
