Description

Claridge House is an 18th-century building located on the east side of High Street. It features a symmetrical facade with 1.5.1 windows across two storeys, where the centre slightly projects. The building has projecting modillioned eaves and a gutter, along with a ridge tile roof that includes end stacks. On either side of the main structure are supporting recessed wings, each topped with a hipped tile roof and a modillioned cornice at a lower level. A large modern dormer is situated in the centre. The elevation is modern rendered with a red brick plinth. At the centre, there is a large projecting Edwardian porch that includes modern double doors. Throughout the building, sash windows are present in recessed frames, and the glazing bars remain intact.
