Description
Nelson House is an 18th-century building located on the east side of Holt White Lion Street. The structure is rendered and colourwashed, featuring a steep pantile roof. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-bay facade that includes sash windows with glazing bars. A later addition is a projecting central porch that has a doorcase and a half-glazed door. The house also has two gabled dormers with casement windows, modillion eaves, and parapetted gables topped with chimney stacks. On the left side of the ground floor, there is a modern surround and display cases for the window. To the east, there is a brick and flint lean-to extension with casement windows, while the north gable is constructed of flint and brick.
