Description
This is a mid-18th century building on the west side of Red Lion Street in Aylsham. It is constructed of colourwashed brick with a steeply pitched pantile roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic, and features shaped gables with chimney stacks located to the north and south. There are remnants of a moulded brick string course, and a further string course is present on the north gable at eaves level. The first floor has a seven-window range, with three of the windows being blank. The building has sash and casement windows. A modern shop front is present. A chamfered north-east corner is visible, featuring brick moulding. Two flat-roofed dormers with part-leaded glazing are present in the attic. A modern flat-roofed extension is attached to the west.
