LEEDS UPPER STREET TQ 85 SW (west side)

3/128 Oasts circa 3 yards south of Tower Cottage GV II

Oasts. Kilns C18, stowages probably largely early C20. Red brick in Flemish bond with occasional grey bricks. Upper quarter of kilns timber=framed covered with cement-rendered lathe and plaster. Plain tile roofs. Stowages parallel to road with square kilns to north end. West stowage shorter and kilns therefore staggered. Kiln roofs conical, capped off with lead, stowages gabled. Interiors not inspected.
