Description
Leeds Stores is a house and new stores, dating from the 18th century, possibly with an earlier core and featuring 19th-century alterations. The building has a painted brick first floor and a rendered ground floor, with the left end elevation being weatherboarded from the 19th century. It has a plain tile roof and stands two storeys high, topped with a hipped roof that returns along the left side elevation. A red and grey brick stack is located at the right end. There are two hipped dormers and a regular arrangement of two glazing-bar sashes. The ground floor was extended in the early 19th century, featuring two canted bay windows and two doors beneath a continuous flat bracketed hood. The left door is half-glazed with a plain rectangular fanlight above, and there is a short wing to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
