Description

Clock House Farm House is a 17th-century farmhouse that features a timber frame construction. The exposed framing has rendered infilling on the ground floor, while the first floor is tile hung. It has a plain tile roof and is positioned at right angles to the road. The building stands two storeys high on a stone plinth and has a continuous jetty that formerly extended along the right (east) gable end, supported by a plain dragon post. The gabled roof has projecting eaves on the right side and 19th-century carved bargeboards, a finial, and a pendant.

The house includes a multiple brick ridge stack located to the right of the center. The fenestration is irregular, featuring three casements: one to the left of the porch and two three-light windows to the right. There is a two-storey timber-framed porch towards the left end, positioned under the stack. The porch has a painted brick ground floor, a rendered first floor with applied studding, and 19th-century bargeboards, a finial, and a pendant. The outer doorway of the porch is carved and features a pendant and quatrefoiled spandrels. The inner door consists of four fielded panels and two top lights.

To the left, there is a timber-framed rear return wing, which may date from the same period. Additionally, there are short rear wings at the center and right. The interior has not been inspected. The building was formerly known as Clock House.
