EAST STREET TQ 74 NW HUNTON (blast Side) 4/71 Clock House Farm House 23.5.67 GV II

Farmhouse. C17. Timber framed. Exposed framing with rendered infilling to ground floor, first floor tile hung. Plain tile roof. Built at right- angles to road. 2 storeys on stone plinth. Continuous jetty, formerly returning along right (east) gable end on plain dragon post. Gabled roof with projecting eaves to right and C19 carved bargeboards, finial and pendant. Multiple brick ridge stack to right of centre. Irregular fenestration of 3 casements; one to left of porch, and two 3-light to right of porch. 2-storey timber-framed porch towards left end, under stack, with painted brick ground floor, rendered first floor with applied studding, and C19 bargeboards, finial and pendant. Carved outer doorway to porch with pendant and quatrefoiled spandrels. Inner door of 4 fielded panels and two top lights. Timber-framed rear return wing to left, possibly of similar date. Short rear wings to centre and right. Interior not inspected. Formerly known as Clock House.
