Wooletts Cottages

Woolletts Cottages is a pair of houses dating from the early 18th century. They are timber framed, with exposed studding and painted brick infilling on the ground floor, while the first floor is rendered. The right gable end is constructed of red and grey brick in Flemish bond, and the left gable end is rendered. The roof is covered with plain tiles. The ground-floor studding indicates three roughly equal-length timber-framed bays. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic, set on a painted brick plinth, and feature gabled roofs. The left gable end has a rendered stack, while the right end has a red brick stack. There are two small hipped two-light dormers and an irregular arrangement of four windows: one three-light paned casement under each dormer and one single paned light above each door. The two doors are located next to each other in the center, each with four fielded panels and a moulded architrave, and are topped by a continuous flat hood with two stone steps leading up to them. A rear lean-to is located on the left, and there is a short two-storey rear wing on the right. The interior has not been inspected.
