Description
Ladybird Cottages is a pair of houses dating from the late 18th century. The ground floor features red and grey brick in Flemish bond on the left side, while the right side is rendered. The first floor is weatherboarded, and the building has a plain tile roof. It is two storeys tall with an attic, set on a rendered plinth, and has a gabled gambrel roof with flush gable end stacks. There are two flat-roofed two-light dormers and an irregular arrangement of two three-light wooden casements. The two boarded doors are positioned towards the centre, each accessed by a separate flight of four brick steps and sharing a continuous lean-to plain-tile hood. There is a rear lean-to, but the interior has not been inspected.
