Description
This is an 18th-century building block located on Lower Stone Street, with an additional frontage on Palace Avenue. It comprises three storeys and originally had six windows facing Lower Stone Street and two facing Palace Avenue. The exterior is stuccoed and features a modillion cornice and a panelled parapet. The original glazing bars remain above the ground floor. Two small square bay windows are present on the first and second floors. Other windows have moulded architraves, with one featuring a pediment. Later 19th-century shop fronts have been added. Numbers 2 to 8, including those on Palace Avenue, are designated as a group.
