Description

29 and 31 Gabriel's Hill is a mid-19th century building that stands four storeys tall and is constructed of brick, now painted. It features a wide double bracket eaves cornice and has three sash windows with only verticals. The second-floor sashes have cambered heads, while the first floor has triple sashes with cambered heads and cornices that are supported on console brackets. There is a modern shopfront, and a 19th-century golden boot shop sign is mounted on a bracket. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 25, 25A, 27, 29 to 33 (odd) and the former stable in the yard of the Ship Inn.
