Description

This is a pair of 18th-century buildings on Gabriel’s Hill. They are three storeys and have attics, constructed of painted brick. The roof is slate, with a Mansard design and two dormers, and is topped by a parapet. There are five sash windows with original glazing bars on the ground floor. The first-floor windows have segmental arches above them. The second floor has two blocked window openings. Modern shopfronts have been installed. The buildings are part of a group including numbers 4 to 20 (even).
