Description
This is a two-storey timber-framed building, originally one structure but now divided into two shops at 97A and 98 High Street. The front of the building is plastered, and the ground floor appears to have been underbuilt beneath an overhang from the first floor. The building features two gables, with the north-west gable overhanging on a moulded bressumer supported by brackets. The first floor has three sash windows, although the glazing bars are missing. Number 98 has two sash windows without glazing bars, and a three-light canted bay window on the right side that retains its glazing bars. Modern shop fronts are present. Numbers 93 to 95 and 97A to 100 form a group.
