Description

26 London Road is a mid-19th century building featuring three storeys of painted brick and a hipped slate roof. The second floor has three sash windows with verticals only, although one window is blocked. A stringcourse runs along the building. On the first floor, there are two canted bays with three lights each. The shop front, added in the later 19th century, includes pilasters. This building, along with No 25, forms a group with Nos 1 to 9 (odd) Castle Street.
