Description
Sun Cottages is a house, now a row of houses, likely dating to the early 16th century or earlier, with a 19th-century facade. The house is timber framed. The front elevation is clad in red brick laid in a Flemish bond pattern. It has a plain tile roof, a brick plinth, and is two storeys high with attics. The roof is half-hipped to the right side, with a multiple brick ridge stack positioned towards the centre. There are three gabled dormers. The windows are irregularly placed, with four recessed three-light casements. The ground-floor windows have segmental heads. There are three half-glazed doors with segmental heads; one is located at the left end and is raised up four steps, and the others are situated either side of the stack, with the left-hand one raised up two steps. A narrow passageway leads to the rear of the property on the right end. The interior has not been inspected.
