Description
Nos 13, 13A, and 15 Earl Street is an 18th-century townhouse that has been divided into two shops with flats above. The building is three storeys high and constructed of red brick. It features a hipped tiled roof with a heavy wooden modillion eaves cornice. There are brick stringcourses above the ground and first floors. Above the ground floor, there are five sashes with glazing bars that are mostly intact. The centre first-floor window is set in an architrave surround with a cornice above it. The doorcase is adorned with engaged Doric columns, an open pediment, a semi-circular fanlight, and a door with six fielded panels. Modern shop fronts are present on each side of the doorcase.
