Description

Nos 42 and 44 Earl Street are early 19th-century houses that stand three storeys tall and are now covered in stucco. They feature a hipped tiled roof with an eaves cornice. Each house has two sash windows and one additional window space. The entrance to No 42 includes a later doorcase with fluted pilasters, a pediment supported on consoles, a rectangular fanlight, and a door with six moulded panels. In contrast, No 44 has a round-headed recessed doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight and a door with six fielded panels.
