Description
The Market House Public House is a mid-19th century corner building that stands two storeys high with a basement. The exterior is finished in stucco, with the ground floor featuring a rusticated design. It has a hipped slate roof at one end. The front has three sash windows with only vertical panes, framed by Italianate architraves. The pub front, dating from the mid-19th century, includes a dentil cornice and features two cambered arches along with a central cambered doorway. On the Market Street side, there are three additional sash windows, two of which are located in a two-storey extension that matches the original style.
