Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that features a late 18th century or early 19th century facade, which may be part of an earlier building. It is timber framed, with the front elevation covered in red mathematical tiles arranged in Flemish bond. The left gable end has a chequered pattern of red and grey brick on the ground floor, with mathematical tiles above. The roof is made of plain tiles and has a double depth design. The building has a lobby entry plan and consists of two storeys and a garret set on a brick plinth. There is a wooden eaves cornice with small Ionic modillions and a half-hipped roof. A gable end stack is located towards the rear of the left end, while a central brick ridge stack is present. The facade features two two-storey canted bays, which are also covered in mathematical tiles and sit on chequered red and grey brick bases, with a cornice that continues around them. Each bay window has a 16-pane sash, and there is a central 8-pane sash. The recessed central door has six fielded panels, a plain rectangular fanlight, and a flat corniced hood. The interior has not been inspected.
