Description
No 31 on High Street in Headcorn is a house and shop that dates from the 18th century or earlier. The ground floor is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The roof is covered with plain tiles and is hipped to the right, with a ridge stack located towards the left end. The building has two storeys and features irregular fenestration with three windows: one four-pane fixed light beneath the stack and two paired four-pane sashes with a broad central mullion. The ground floor has three paired sashes, and to the right, there is a canted shop window with small rectangular panes. A plain door is located at the left end, while a half-glazed door is positioned towards the right. There is a rear wing on the right side. The interior has not been inspected.
