Description

This is a headboard dedicated to E. Nesbit, located approximately 9 yards south of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It was created in 1924 and is made of wood. The headboard features a narrow horizontal board supported by two vertical posts. The inscription reads: "Resting E. Nesbit. Mrs Bland-Tucker Poet and Author Died 4th May 1924 Aged 65."
