Description
This is a terrace of six buildings, numbered 2 to 7, located on the south side of Exchange Street. The terrace was constructed in the late 18th century and early 19th century and exhibits variations in design. The buildings are two storeys high, with a basement, and are constructed of brown brick. Number 3 has been painted. The parapets along the roofline differ in height. Each building has one sash window with intact glazing bars. Buildings 2, 3, and 5 have simple wooden doorcases topped with pediments and moulded architraves. Number 4 features pilasters and a flat hood above the doorway. Numbers 6 and 7 have simple round-headed doorcases, featuring blocked fanlights, and modern doors. The buildings, taken together, form a notable group.
