Description

This is a terrace of six buildings, numbered 2 to 7 Dane John, dating from approximately 1820 to 1830. The buildings are not uniformly designed. Each has two storeys, basements, and attics. The exterior is stuccoed or cement-rendered. Numbers 2 and 3 have three sash windows each, while numbers 4, 5, 6, and 7 each have a single sash window with intact glazing bars. The roof is a slate mansard roof with eight dormers, six of which are curved. A cornice and parapet run along the top of the facade. The buildings feature plain pilasters and a rusticated base to numbers 2 and 3. Each building has a round-headed recessed doorcase and an eight-panelled door. Buildings 2 to 7 form a group.
