Description
The building is a mid-19th century former municipal building of three storeys and attics, with basements. It is cement-rendered with a slate roof. The left side features two pedimented dormers with stone coping and a dropped cornice with a bracket cornice to the centre portion. The ground floor on the left side has a three-light bay divided by plain pilasters. A central stone porch features a cornice, plain pilasters, and a round-headed doorcase. A late 19th-century three-storey extension is located at the right end, incorporating an oriel window. The right side has two fluted Doric doorcases. The building forms a group with the former municipal buildings at numbers 12, 12A, and numbers 14 to 23.
