Description
This is an early 19th-century terrace of six houses located on the south-east side of Union Road. The buildings are not uniformly designed; numbers 27 to 31 are two storeys high, while the rest are three storeys high and include basements. The terrace is constructed primarily of brown brick, with number 31 stuccoed and number 23 painted. The buildings have parapets along the roofline. Most of the windows are sash windows with intact glazing bars. Number 19 features a first-floor canted bay window. The doorways have simple round-headed surrounds and panelled doors, some with fielded panels. Number 21 has shell moulding in its fanlight. Numbers 19 to 31 (odd) are considered to form a significant group.
