Description
Rowling Court is a house dated 1686, constructed of red brick in Minster bond with a plain tiled roof. It stands two storeys high with a basement on a plinth, featuring a discontinuous moulded plat band and a cornice at the gable on the right, which has kneelered parapet gables. There are stacks at the end left and at the rear right, and the hip end of the rear wing oversails on the left. A projecting two-storey porch is located at the centre right. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows, while the ground floor features three glazing bar sashes with painted cambered heads and a metal casement in the porch. The basement has an opening on the left. The porch includes a round arched doorway with double doors that are half glazed and have fielded panels. There is also a dated brick below the porch window.
