Description
Elizabethan Cottage is a house dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof with colored bands. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth and has a plat band. The roof has shaped gables with two segmental sections that are topped by a pediment. There are chimney stacks at both the left and right ends of the house. Each floor has two three-light Dering windows, and there is a central boarded door with a segmental head. The brickwork on the rear wall is laid in "Minster" bond, which is common in Thanet and the nearby mainland.
