Description

Gander Court Farmhouse is a house dating from the 15th century. It features a timber frame with large panel framing and close-studding, with plaster infill. The left and right sides are underbuilt with red brick. The farmhouse has a thatched roof and is one storey high with an attic, set on a brick plinth. It may have originally had an end jetty. The roof is hipped with gablets and includes two eyebrow dormers, as well as stacks at both ends. There is a small wooden casement window high up on the left side, and three wooden casement windows with two and three lights, along with a rib and stud door located to the centre right. The building is constructed with upper crucks.
