Description

Summerfield Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century. It is timber framed and rendered, with some parts exposed and plaster infill, and has painted brick on the left side. The house features a thatched roof and stands two storeys high on a plinth, with a hipped roof that steps down to the left and a central right chimney stack. There are three wooden casement windows on each floor, and a boarded door located to the centre right, accessed by three steps. The left side of the house has a plinth and a plat band, and there is a single-storey extension with a slate roof to the right.
