Description

This is a row of eight terraced houses, numbered 308 to 315, dated around 1840. They are built of brown brick with a parapet and dropped eaves cornice, and have attics. Each house has eight dormers. The windows are predominantly two-sash windows with intact glazing bars. Houses 311 and 312 project slightly forward. A rusticated stucco string course runs above the ground floor. Houses 310 and 311 feature two cast iron balconettes on their first floors. The ground floor windows are round-headed sashes. The entrances have simple round-headed doorcases with fanlights and panel doors, accessed by a flight of steps, some with original cast iron railings. These houses form a group with numbers 279 to 319.
