Description

This is a range of four early 19th-century terraced houses, numbered 123 to 126, located on Windmill Street. The buildings are constructed of brown brick with a slate roof and feature a moulded eaves cornice and parapet. Each house has two sash windows on each of the three storeys, with original glazing bars intact. A stringcourse runs between the ground and first floors, and cast iron balconettes are present on the first-floor windows. The doorways are round-headed, each with a decorated fanlight and fielded panelled door, accessed by steps leading up from the street, with cast iron railings. The buildings are part of a group, alongside numbers 118 to 126, and are considered to have local interest when considered in conjunction with numbers 118 to 122.
