Description
Nos. 109 and 110 on Windmill Street are a pair of buildings dating from around 1840. They are two storeys tall with a semi-basement and are finished in stucco, with No. 110 being colorwashed. The buildings feature a hipped slate roof with a parapet, a dropped eaves cornice, and a central pediment supported by four pilasters on the first floor. There are three sash windows, with the outer ones being three-light and flanked by pilasters. The ground floor is rusticated and includes two three-light curved bay windows with pilasters in between, which form balconies for the first floor. The central doorcases have cornices, Doric half-columns, and rectangular fanlights, with steps leading down to the street and footscrapers. Nos. 109 to 113 form a group, with Nos. 111 to 113 being buildings of local interest.
