Description

Waterloo Terrace comprises a row of eight terraced houses built in 1858. The houses are numbered 21 to 35 on the east side of Military Road. They are two storeys high, with basements beneath each, and numbers 21 and 23 have dormer windows. The houses are constructed of red brick, but the front elevations have been rendered white. They have slate roofs. The sash windows retain their original glazing bars. Each house has a door recessed within an archway surmounted by a semi-circular fanlight, itself containing glazing bars. Three stone steps lead up to the front doors, which are flanked by iron balusters and a wrought iron handrail. Numbers 21 to 35 form a cohesive group.
