Description

14 Military Road is an early 19th-century cottage ornée, consisting of one storey with a protruding central gable and two wings. The building features four windows and a steeply pitched thatched roof. The walls are painted stucco. The gable wing has a later inserted bay window. Each wing contains two round-headed Gothic style windows with original glazing bars, and there is a small window in the gable end. The cottage is also adorned with fretted bargeboards.
