Description
Lovekey Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with an extension from the 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, partly in irregular English Bond, and features a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys set on a plinth, with a plat band and a hipped roof that includes stacks on both the left and right sides.
On the first floor, there is one three-light and three two-light wooden casements, along with a 20th-century oriel window to the left. The ground floor has three wooden casements and a glazed door located centrally to the left, which is accessed through a trellised porch. At the left end of the house, there is a glazed 20th-century conservatory. Inside, the cottage features moulded ceiling joists and inglenooks.
