Description

These are two late 1840s terraced houses on the south side of High Street, Herne Bay. They are stuccoed with a deep cornice and a high parapet featuring recessed panels. An iron balcony is situated on the first floor. Each floor has two sash windows with original glazing bars. The ground and first-floor windows are set within moulded architrave surrounds, with the first-floor windows having a round-headed shape. The doorcases also have moulded architrave surrounds, rectangular fanlights above the doors, and doors consisting of three moulded and fielded panels. Numbers 144 to 150 (the even numbers) are designated as a group.
