Description

85 Mortimer Street is a mid-19th century building that stands two storeys high with a basement. The exterior is finished in stucco and features a slate roof with a wooden eaves cornice. The building has long and short quoins, and there are three sash windows with intact glazing bars, each set in moulded architraves. On the ground floor, there are two three-light bow windows. The central doorcase is topped with a cornice and has a frieze decorated with three wreaths and console brackets. Nos 85 and 87 Mortimer Street are part of a group of buildings.
