Description
Nos 1 to 6 Hanover Square are a group of three houses built in the early 19th century as part of the original layout of Herne Bay. These three-storey buildings feature a basement with an area that is stuccoed. They have a cornice and parapet, and each house has six sash windows with intact glazing bars. The ground and first floor windows are framed with moulded architrave surrounds. An iron balcony with a hood is supported on trellised columns, and the doorcases are adorned with Doric pilasters and projecting cornices beneath the balcony.
