Description
The Master's Lodge at Eastbridge Hospital is a 16th century or earlier timber-framed building featuring plaster infilling and curved braces on the first floor. The ground floor has been refaced with red brick, and the entire left side wall was refaced with brick in the 18th century. The building has a hipped tiled roof and includes one casement window with two large pointed lights. The 18th century side elevation features sash windows with intact glazing bars. It stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying three windows and one gabled dormer. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 49 to 60, the Methodist Church, and the forecourt to the Methodist Church.
