Description
No 4 St Peter's Street is a 16th-century timber-framed building that has been restored. The exterior is rendered and features one double-sashed bay on the first floor, along with a modern shop front. Nos 5 and 5A have a taller gable and include curved braces, with one three-light canted bay and later shop fronts. No 5A extends along All Saints Lane. The left portion of this building is an early 19th-century industrial structure with two storeys; the ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor is weatherboarded. It has a simple cambered doorcase on the left side. The right side features a two-storey 18th-century building with two restored casements and a rainwater head. Nos 1 to 10 St Peter's Street form a group, and No 5A also forms a group with All Saints Cottage, All Saints Court, and the building adjoining All Saints Court to the southwest along All Saints Lane.
