Description
Nos 59 and 60 on St Peter's Street are early 19th-century buildings featuring two parallel ranges and three storeys constructed of buff brick. The design includes stone coping and a dropped modillion cornice, along with a stringcourse. The front facade has four sash windows with intact glazing bars. The ground floor showcases a well-preserved early 19th-century shop front, which includes a blank frieze, three plain pilasters, two Roman Ionic half columns, and panelled risers. The doorcases are adorned with fanlights. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 49 to 60, the Methodist Church, and the forecourt to the Methodist Church.
