Description
Nos 56 and 57 on St Peter's Street are early 19th-century buildings consisting of two parallel ranges. They are three storeys high and constructed from buff brick, topped with an old tiled roof. The buildings feature a stone parapet with a dropped moulded cornice and a stringcourse. There are four sash windows with intact glazing bars. A later shop front has been added. These buildings are part of a group that includes Nos 49 to 60, the Methodist Church, and the forecourt to the Methodist Church.
