Description

The cottages located to the south west of the main Eastbridge Hospital building were formerly the hospital kitchens. Number 9 dates from the 17th century and later, featuring two storeys of red brick with two restored casement windows on the first floor. The ground floor has two diamond-paned mullions and an old brickwork plinth, along with a wooden door supported by wrought iron brackets. Number 10 is a two-storey timber-framed structure with plaster infill and a tiled roof that includes two dormers. The interior has partly restored fireplaces. These cottages, along with Nos 25 to 29, form a group.
