Description
The Yealms is a row of three cottages dating from the 17th century. They feature timber framing with whitewashed brick infill and a stone plinth, topped with a thatched roof and a central brick chimney. Nos. 7 and 9 have a one-unit plan, while No. 11, which is a separate build, has a two-unit plan. No. 9 includes a curved rendered ground floor projection, likely a bread oven. The cottages are one storey with an attic, showcasing three swept dormers. Nos. 7 and 9 have 19th-century plank doors, while No. 11 features a ribbed 20th-century door and a thatched hood that extends over flanking 20th-century oriel windows with leaded lights, as well as another similar oriel. There is a lateral stack at the rear of No. 7. The interior has not been inspected, and there are 20th-century additions at the rear.
