Description

The Old Cottage is a semi-detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It is built using timber framing with whitewashed brick infill and a whitewashed stone wall at the rear. A stone angle buttress is visible on the right side of the gable end. The roof is tiled, and there is a brick chimney at the left end. The cottage has a two-unit plan, incorporating two dormers. The windows are 20th-century metal casements with glazing bars, and the front door is a 20th-century stable door. The main entrance, located in the gable end, has a porch that was rebuilt in 2015. The interior has not been inspected.
