Description
The Master's Lodge at Peterhouse is a Grade I listed building dating from 1702. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings and has three storeys plus a basement. The building features a brick and stone plinth, with moulded plat bands between the storeys and rusticated stone quoins. It has seven bays, with a central doorway that includes double eight-panel doors. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. The eaves are supported by a bracketed timber cornice, and the roof is tiled. Inside, there are two original staircases and a significant amount of panelling, both moulded and fielded.
